Inspiriert von „yvy marãey“, der Legende vom „Land ohne Übel“ – einer symbolischen Territorialität mit Raum für Gegenseitigkeit – und der eigenen Familiengeschichte, laden die Schwestern Fernanda Ortiz, Choreografin & Tänzerin, und Mariana Ortiz Losada, Dramaturgin & Regisseurin, dazu ein, den Dschungel im Körper, in den Ohren, auf der Haut zu spüren.
Zusammen mit einem internationalen Team weben sie ein widerstandsfähiges Netz aus Körpern und Stimmen, das sich dem ökologischen Kollaps und dem kolonialen Erbe stellt.
When the Red Sun Glows is a nomadic choreography—embodied knowledge, oral tradition, sound universe. Inspired by yvy marãey, the Guaraní legend of the “land without evil,” sisters Fernanda Ortiz and Mariana Ortiz Losada explore their family history and invite the audience to feel the jungle in their bodies, ears, skin. With an international team, they weave a resilient network of bodies and voices facing ecological collapse and colonial heritage.

Inspiradas por «yvy marãey», la leyenda de la «tierra sin males» —una territorialidad simbólica con espacio para la reciprocidad— y de su propia historia familiar, las hermanas Fernanda Ortiz, coreógrafa y bailarina, y Mariana Ortiz Losada, dramaturga y directora, invitan a sentir la selva en el cuerpo, en los oídos, en la piel.
Junto con un equipo internacional, tejen una resistente red de cuerpos y voces que se enfrenta al colapso ecológico y al legado colonial.
