Instant compostion is a direct way of expression for me. If it is playing music, painting, traveling, or even just decisions we have to make in everyday life, everybody is confronted with composing, creating instantly in some ways. Having the past and the future in mind, but living the moment, thats what I feel about it. Improvisation, I think, is about dealing with the possible variations on a given theme or situation, with composing instantly one creates the situation.
