After screening reception for “New City New Film New Media”
NewCity NewFilm NewMedia (NCNFNM) is a monthly film series at Theater for the New City engaging dialogue with new filmmakers and media creators. We honor the fore masters in cinema as we pave the way for the new voices of storytellers. We service the NYC downtown filmmaker community with exhibitions space, marketing, and promotion of new films. Our goal is to foster the independent spirit of filmmaking and new media within the LES Community, and beyond. We are presenting once a month from October 3, 2011 to April 2, 2012 at Theater for the New City under the direction of Artistic Director Crystal Field and Film Program Director Francesse Maingrette. We are thrilled to showcase and celebrate the creative genius juice that fuels the independent filmmaking and media community.
