Caroline Bayer

Based on the cityscape and its visual classification systems Bayer develops drawings and installations that relate to the direct surroundings of the exhibitions space or other specific locations and sites.

She is based in Berlin and received diplomas from the Kunstakademie Münster (DE) and Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht, (NL). Bayer’s recent exhibitions include Zeichen und Wunder, Kunsthaus Nürnberg (DE), same same but different, Gesellschaft für Kunst und Gestaltung, Bonn (DE), Expandierende Zeichnung, Kunstverein Wilhelmshöhe, Ettlingen and  RaumZeichnungen, Kunstmuseum Mülheim an der Ruhr . She has received several scholarships, such as the Stipendium of Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen (2007), the Stipendium Künstlerhaus Lukas (2009), and the Stipendium der Alfred Köchlin-Stiftung, Willisau, Schweiz (2011).

Janine Eggert

Janine Eggert makes sculptures and installations in various materials. She draws on the formal language and modes of industrial production to examine and challenge visual habits.

Janine Eggert received her diploma at the HfbK Hamburg (DE). Her work has been shown at REH Kunst, Berlin (DE), Engineer’s Office Gallery, New York, (USA), Galerie Conradi, Hamburg (DE) and Lynda Erickson Gallery, New York, (USA). She has received scholarships from the K.H. Ditze-Foundation, Hamburg and the Student scholarship for sculpture at the Ar.Co Institute, Lisbon. She is a member of the artist collective Eggert/Ricklefs and their works are part of several private collections in Germany. Eggert lives and works in Berlin and Hamburg.

Chryssa Tsampazi

Tsampazi’s work mobilizes notions of intimate publics and performative speech actions  where the body of the artist, and that of her collaborator-participants, constitute both the subject and the transmitter of the work.

She studied Theater at Drama School of Athens (GR) before receiving an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (IL). Her work has been shown at Sullivan Galleries, Chicago (IL); Betty Rymer Gallery, Chicago; Chicago Cultural Center; Fallout Gallery, Minneapolis (MN); Athens Biennial, Athens, (GR) Art-Athina, Athens (GR); Bios Centre Athens, Athens (GR); Sophiensaele, Berlin (DE). She is the co-founder of the performance group ShiftyTongue together with the visual artist Vassiliea Stylianidou. In 2008 Tsampazi received the Tom Jaremba Fellowship from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She lives and works in Berlin.
